Temporary introduction of 30mph Speed Limit: Bowds Lane and Trow Lane, Brinkworth and Tockenham (Ref: TTRO 8901)

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary introduction of 30mph Speed Limit: Bowds Lane and Trow Lane, Brinkworth and Tockenham (Ref: TTRO 8901) 

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to temporarily introduce a 30mph speed restriction on the following length of roads: 

 A) Bowds Lane, Brinkworth and Tockenham; from its junction with Trow Lane to its junction with A3102. 

B) Trow Lane, Brinkworth and Tockenham; from its junction with C108 to its junction with A3102. 

To enable: the reduced likelihood of road traffic collision, by vehicles traveling at unsuitable speeds in increased volume caused by the road closure of the B4069. 

The speed restrictions will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. 

This speed limit restrictions will come into operation on 22 September 2023 and will be required until 22 March 2025. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
